How many illustrations of my child will be included in the book?

Including the book’s cover, your child will be drawn into twelve rich, full-color illustrations.

How many times will my child’s name be mentioned in the story?

Your child will find their name written into the story seventeen times, including the dedication from Scribbly.

What is involved in the custom dedication?

Write a note to your little one, and include a picture of them, or of the two of you together (even better!) in a full-page spread at the book’s opening.

This is a sweet touch and a crowd favorite.

Is it safe to upload my child’s photo to your system?

The safety of the image and likeness of our children online is an important concern, and as a mother of two young children who has worked in tech in Silicon Valley for 15 years, it’s one I wholeheartedly share. 

For this reason, your child’s photo will be used only for the production of your book.

We use best-in-class security for our software systems, and we delete your child’s photo from our records 30 days after your book is shipped. 

If you upload a photo and don’t order a book, the photo will not be saved at all.

This is how I would want my children’s images to be handled, so this is how we will handle yours.

How long will it take for my book to arrive?

Production of your custom book takes 5-10 business days from the time of order. The shipping times listed below are in addition to this production time.

• Free domestic economy shipping with UPS, 4-8 business days

• Optional expedited 2nd day air with FedEx, 2 business days (additional cost displayed at checkout)

The total time from date of order to arrival will be:

• Domestic Economy: 9-18 business days (5-10 days production + 4-8 days shipping)

• Domestic Expedited 2nd Day Air: 7-12 business days (5-10 days production + 2 days shipping)
